CAG – Simon Community Harvest Collection October 2014
As part of our Harvest Celebrations the CAG girls organised a collection for the Simon Community. Many thanks to everyone who donated toiletries and store cupboard essentials for the homeless in our local area. Jim from the Simon Community was delighted to load his van (with the help of some strong girls from the CAG!) with over 20 bags of groceries and other useful items. A big thank you to all involved.
CAG - NSPCC and Stand by Me visitors
This year, the members of CAG decided to donate money to the NSPCC and "Stand by Me" charities. We enjoyed two lively assemblies and presented cheques to Karen and Alistair respectively.
CAG – Carol Singing - December 2014
The Prep 5, 6 and 7 representatives from the Community Action Group accompanied the Prep 4 choir on a recent trip to Castlecourt Shopping Centre. While the choir sang Christmas carols and other well-known Christmas songs, the CAG girls merrily handed out chocolates and spread some Christmas cheer! We collected over £120 for Clic Sargent – many thanks to all involved, especially Miss McQuillan, Miss McKeag and Mrs McQuoid.
