Junior Pre-School have been focusing on the topic of Autumn. We have enjoyed some Autumn adventures where we collected leaves, conkers and pinecones. We then used these Autumn objects for our art work. We are looking forward to our Hibernation Day on Friday 12th October when all the Day Care children are invited to come to school dressed in their pyjamas. We will be studying hibernation, making a bear cave and going on a bear hunt.
Junior Pre-School have enjoyed a lot of outdoor play. The Easter bunny came and hid lots of treats in our playground. We have also really enjoyed playing in our new mud kitchen. We have made “mud soup”, “mud pies” and “slugs, bugs and lettuce spaghetti.” Thank you to everyone who sent in pots and pans to help us expand our play area.

The Junior-Preschool and Pre-School classes worked very hard to raise £1,070 for their sponsored bounce. The learners were very tired by the end of the bounce as they had to jump up and down as many times as they could in three minutes! We would like to thank all family and friends for their generous contributions. The money raised will be put to great use in purchasing resources to enhance our Day Care outdoor play area. Well done everyone!
