Prep Buddies 2025-2026
To ensure pupils feel happy and safe at playtime, Prep operates a buddy system led by Prep 6 girls. Each week, they introduce a new playground activity called Craze of the Week. If you're feeling lonely or unsure what to play, just look for a blue cap!
Action Groups Big Spring Clean
The sunny month of May saw our action groups come together to complete a big spring clean of our school grounds. The girls worked together to refresh the flower planters around the Prep, to complete a litter pick and create necklaces to sell to buy some more playground games.
Buddies 2022-2023
The Prep 6 girls have started their Buddy duties in earnest with the focus on teaching traditional playground games. So far they have taught some paired clapping games and the game ‘In and Out through the dusty bluebells’
Buddies during Lockdown
Whilst 2020 has been an unusual and difficult year for our whole school community, the Buddies have thought of creative ways to keep in touch with all the girls. They have created a ‘Lockdown’ video to show our girls what they can do to keep themselves busy and entertained during the school closure.
