Exploring fractions in Prep 3

In Prep 3, during our numeracy time, we have been exploring fractions of both shapes and numbers. Today we investigated how to find one quarter of a number using counters. The children had great fun sharing counters into equal groups and there was lots of fantastic problem‑solving happening alongside the development of our mathematical language.
