Good Relations Week
Prep pupil, Zara, proudly represented VCB Prep as the Community Relations’ Council launched their Good Relations campaign. Their mission is to deliver a positive message that ‘Together’ we can make a difference to break down barriers and build more inclusive communities.
VCB Prep Belfast Primary Schools’ Choir of the Year
On Wednesday 17 May VCB Prep Senior Choir competed against 5 choirs in St Anne Trust Belfast Primary Schools’ Choir of the Year competition. They sang ‘Pure Imagination’ and ‘Joshua fought the battle of Jericho’. They sang very well and were awarded 1st prize. Well done, girls!

ECO team awarded the Woodlands Trust Green Tree School Gold Award
Prep Coronation celebrations got off to an exciting start when we featured on CBBC's Newsround! The ECO girls from P4-7 were planting some celebratory rose bushes in the ECO garden while telling presenter Martin about the rest of the week's special events. ECO Team plant Coronation roses
Pupils from the Eco Team were excited to be interviewed by CBBC Newsround this morning talking about planting roses to celebrate the King’s coronation.
ECO Team lobbyists
Some members of the Eco Team met with with Mrs Hrabovsky to ask her to allow them to create a planting area within our school grounds.
P2 Park Trip
Prep 2 had great fun at the park yesterday. The girls looked for signs of spring buds, new leaves and enjoyed listening to the birds sing. We finished off with a little fun in the park.
World Around Us - WW2
Prep 4 have been transported back to World War Two! We have been learning about secret codes and playing with toys from World War Two.
