P7 Touch Rugby
P7 Pupils enjoyed taking part in another touch rugby session, giving the girls the opportunity to develop new skills on the pitch and allowing some great talent to emerge.
International Day of Languages
Prep girls celebrated International Day of Languages yesterday with pupils dressing up, sharing their knowledge of their chosen country and bringing a souvenir from that country to show their classmates.
P6 Viking Workshop
P6 Girls enjoyed taking part in the Viking Workshop where they learned bracelet making, rune decoding and even had a battle re-enactment!
Back to School 2023

Prep 3 visit Mount Stewart
Prep 3 visited Mount Stewart to take part in a ‘Connect with History’ workshop where they learnt about life in the Victorian times. They dressed up as Victorian children and learnt about Lady Helen’s childhood whilst touring parts of the house. The girls had an experience of a strict Victorian school and later got to play with a variety of wooden toys from the past on the garden terrace. To finish our day, we had a lovely picnic on the lawn and enjoyed exploring the trees and playing some traditional games. A fantastic day was had by all!
Irish dancing success
Congratulations to the VCB Prep Irish dancers who were so successful at the Belfast Feis.
P7 Trip to York
Prep 7 girls enjoyed a residential trip to York recently, spending time exploring the Jorvik Centre, the York Chocolate Story, Flamingoland, York Minster and some souvenir shopping in The Shambles. A good time was had by all!
Prep receives International School Award

Good Relations Week
Prep pupil, Zara, proudly represented VCB Prep as the Community Relations’ Council launched their Good Relations campaign. Their mission is to deliver a positive message that ‘Together’ we can make a difference to break down barriers and build more inclusive communities.
VCB Prep Belfast Primary Schools’ Choir of the Year
On Wednesday 17 May VCB Prep Senior Choir competed against 5 choirs in St Anne Trust Belfast Primary Schools’ Choir of the Year competition. They sang ‘Pure Imagination’ and ‘Joshua fought the battle of Jericho’. They sang very well and were awarded 1st prize. Well done, girls!
