Prep pupils join St Anne’s Cathedral Chorister Choir
VCB Prep are very proud of Katie and Zoe who auditioned successfully for St Anne’s Chorister Choir! This is a marvellous opportunity for the girls to benefit from a first-class musical education and be part of history by participating in a choral tradition that spans over 120 years.
International Day of Languages
Prep marked International Day of Languages by having a dress up day today. Each class enjoyed celebrating the day by wearing a national costume and decorating a plate with the local cuisine of their chosen country.
P7 HIP Psychology workshop
Prep 7 enjoyed a ‘Conquering Worries’ workshop delivered by HIP Psychology which focused on developing strategies to manage emotions and how to be our best at all times.
Return to School 2024
Pre School and Prep 1
These pupils return on Friday 23 August from 9am-12noon. Mums and Dads are invited to a ‘Meet the Teacher’ session at 11.15am that day.
Monday 26th August - Bank Holiday
Pre School and Prep 1 then return to school on Tuesday 27th from 9am-12noon.
Wednesday 28th will be their first full day with school open from 8am but no school lunches will be provided until Thursday 29th August so please bring a packed lunch on Wednesday 28th August.

P1 Visit to Exploris
Prep 1 girls recently paid a visit to Exploris Aquarium in Portaferry where they enjoyed looking at the exotic sea life and reptiles and got to watch the antics of the seals and penguins, finishing with picnic lunch before boarding the coach back to school.
International School Award - Intermediate Level
Well done to Mrs Burnet for leading our school through the Intermediate Level of the International School Award. What a great achievement and recognition of the work we do within school to promote international diversity.
World School Games Swimming Success
Prep 7’s Cara Savage recently travelled to the London Olympic pool representing VCB at the world school games. Cara swam superbly making finals in all her four events. She went on to win a bronze in the 50 meter freestyle and followed that with an incredible silver in the 100 meter freestyle.
