New ICT equipment for Prep
A massive thank you to our school community and Action Groups who raised over £3500 to acquire 35 new tablets and charging stations for Prep ICT. Special thanks to Mr Calixto (Prep 7 parent) who helped advise and support us with the purchase! We can’t wait to start using them this week!
P3 Seed planting
Today we have been planting. Our special compost was very Eco friendly, made from waste materials from the coconut industry in India. We planted peas, garlic and shallots. We will try our best to look after them over the winter months and will enjoy watching them grow.

VCB Prep joins Inchmarlo for Forest School
Prep 1 had such good fun this morning at Inchmarlo - at last we got a dry day! The girls made new friends and went on an Autumn scavenger hunt in their mixed groups. Lots of opportunities for sharing and turn-taking as well as lots of running around. There was a little chill in the air so they all got warmed up with warm juice and a chocolate biscuit.
Prep pupils join St Anne’s Cathedral Chorister Choir
VCB Prep are very proud of Katie and Zoe who auditioned successfully for St Anne’s Chorister Choir! This is a marvellous opportunity for the girls to benefit from a first-class musical education and be part of history by participating in a choral tradition that spans over 120 years.
International Day of Languages
Prep marked International Day of Languages by having a dress up day today. Each class enjoyed celebrating the day by wearing a national costume and decorating a plate with the local cuisine of their chosen country.
