Animal Magic

In Prep 3 we have begun our new topic “Animal Magic” and have been learning about the plants and the animals that live in our school grounds and within our local area.  We recently had a Bio-Blitz workshop with the RSPB where we were looking for minibeasts and identifying their habitat conditions.  We also observed, identified and measured some trees in our grounds.  One of the oak trees we measured was over 106 years old! It was lots of fun!
